We are a family who loved having multiple litters of Boxers over a period of many years, and now we are excited to share our love of the Australian Mountain Doodle (AMD) with you.
THE AMD breed is an incredible mix of the best of the Australian Shepherd, Bernese Mountain Dog, and Poodle. We fell in love with this breed many years ago and began doing our research and searching for the perfect pup. We found her!
Frannie truly is the best companion! She is unbelievably smart and loves everyone! She has become our most beloved furry family member, and we want to share her lovable traits with everyone through her amazing puppies.
Then there's Milo, the gentle, lovable, gorgeous male who was an equal part in producing our first and second outstanding AMD litters. He is now happily retired and fully looking forward to being Papaw to future Woodbriar Wags pups! He has earned and deserves this high calling for sure!
We are slowly but surely growing our program one amazing Mama at a time. Since Frannie is officially retired, we are excited to announce that we kept the most beautiful girl from her Mini AMD litter, Miss Bonnie Blair who is now lovingly called Polly! We're going to love on Polly over the next couple years and see how her personality shines and how her genetic traits align with what we're wanting to see in our program. If all goes well, we could be enjoying a new Mini AMD litter sometime in 2028. I'll definitely keep this site updated so you can start making plans now!
Frannie's retirement litter is a dream and they have all found her new homes! They truly are so gorgeous and we have loved having them here and raising them for their forever families!

Woodbriar Wags has been amazing from the start. I joined their Facebook page mid-Oct and saw her post about the puppies before they were born and DM’d her for more info. Ever since then she has been so responsive - sending details and photos all along the way, FaceTiming a few times in Nov/Dec with me to see all the puppies so we could decide which one to bring home. She’s been so accommodating. They are doing so much great training and socialization with them too, which makes me feel really good.
