We are a family who loved having multiple litters of Boxers over a period of many years, and now we are excited to share our love of the Australian Mountain Doodle (AMD) with you.

THE AMD breed is an incredible mix of the best of the Australian Shepherd, Bernese Mountain Dog, and Poodle. We fell in love with this breed many years ago and began doing our research and searching for the perfect pup. We found her!

 

Frannie truly is the best companion! She is unbelievably smart and loves everyone!  She has become our most beloved furry family member, and we want to share her lovable traits with everyone through her amazing puppies.

 

Then there's Milo, the gentle, lovable, gorgeous male who was an equal part in producing our first and second outstanding AMD litters. He is now happily retired and fully looking forward to being Papaw to future Woodbriar Wags pups! He has earned and deserves this high calling for sure!

We are slowly but surely growing our program with our beautiful AMD, Millie, who is a red and white Parti. We are hopeful that both Millie will become a future Mama for us, but for now, she is living with their wonderful guardian family and thriving with all the love and attention she deserves. We are also so excited to introduce Sami, our amazingly gentle, smart, and outgoing Bernedoodle, who is living with his amazing guardian family, and who we are considering pairing with Millie when the time is right. All of our prospective parents have been DNA and health tested through Embark, and have passed with flying colors!

Keep an eye out for Frannie's retirement litter expected in February of 2026. After much thought and consideration, and a desire to produce smaller puppies that look like her, we have decided to pair her with the most gorgeous purebred brown phantom poodle named Boone! We expect these puppies to average 25-35 lbs full-grown, with all furnished coats that will be soft, wavy curls, and look so much like Frannie!

 

We're also hopeful about a pairing between Millie and either Sami or the sweetest little purebred red poodle, named Rudy! Depending on which Daddy we go with for Millie's first litter, these puppies will have estimated weights of 35-50 pounds for a Millie x Sami pairing with a variety of coats from furnished to unfurnished, and straight, wavy, and curly - lots of variation! A pairing between Millie x Rudy would result in estimated adult weights between 20-35 lbs with all of the puppies having furnished coats, and be wavy to curly. They will likely be all or mostly red, ranging anywhere from cream to deep red. These pups are expected Summer/Fall of 2026, so don't wait to reach out about placing a deposit. ​​
